Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers of the decade for India and, unfortunately, he is not part of India for the important Border-Gavaskar Trophy. According to reports, Bumrah might not take part in this edition of the IPL, Speaking to Indian News Sports Rajkumar said

“It is a big setback for Mumbai Indians They had to wait for Jofra Archer to get fit last year, and now it’s Jasprit Bumrah. However, it is also a very big loss for the country, as we were relying a lot on him because he was leading the other pacers.

Rajkumar said that Mumbai Indians were similarly affected by the absence of Jofra Archer in IPL 2022 and the absence of Bumrah will huge blow for them this season. A few days back, it was reported that Bumrah had started bowling in the NCA nets, but he is not feeling that comfortable bowling in full rhythm

“His absence is a major setback, considering that Mohammed Shami, too, isn’t very young right now. Apart from Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik, we don’t have anyone else who can bowl over 140 kmph consistently.” He said

Bumrah’s injury will also be a huge cause of concern for the Indian Team with the World Test Championship finals and ODI World Cup Scheduled this year. The management does not want to rush him so that Bumrah can take some more time off to recover from his injury woes and would expect him to come out fully fit for the forthcoming season.
