New Zealand fast-bowler Trent Boult was sold to Kolkata Kinght Riders for whopping five crores after his bidding started at 1.5 crore.
Boult has been impressive with the ball in the shortest version of the game and Kolkata Knight Riders’ table is happy to spend some hefty amount on the left-arm pacer to bolster their fast bowling attack.
The bidding war started with both Mumbai Indian and Kolkata Knight Riders.
In 2015 season, Boult has bagged 9 wickets for the Sunrisers Hyderabad before being released this year.
He’s likely going to make an impression in this IPL edition with the ball as he is the most sort after professional in Twenty20 game.
Boult has played eight match since 2015 in which he has picked 10 wickets.
