The Afghanistan cricketer is a new finding in the cricket world. The spinner made the debut for his country at the age of 16. Thus, he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in the ODIs.

In the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019-20, Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the only spinner among the top ten wicket-takers. His 15 wickets had come at an average of 15.86 but his most outstanding number is 5.06 – his economy rate.

Currently, he is playing for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20. In 2018, He made the debut in the cash-rich league for KXIP. He has played 16 IPL matches and picked 17 wickets. Rahman will be a key player for KXIP after seeing his performance in franchise leagues worldwide.
