Hardik Pandya, the 21-year-old allrounder from Baroda, was the hero as in the space of 10 minutes (i.e 2 over) robbery Mumbai Indians snatched an easy looking win from 2 time Champions Chennai Super Kings. Mumbai Indians needed 30 from 2 overs, as the youngster smashed three sixes in four of Pawan Negi, who a Dhoni gamble which didn’t pay off in this match. Hardik Pandya finished with 21 runs off 8 balls as CSK were left stunned. 

With this MI win, Chennai Super Kings’ bid to become the first team in IPL 2015 to qualify for play off to the knock-outs was halted by the resurgent team.

Leaving the match aside, on Twitter Mumbai Indians’ official handle trolled one of the successful teams in English Premier League Arsenal as Mumbai jumped to fourth on the table.
