Aussie speedster Josh Hazlewood has asked the team management for the bowler rotation policy during the Ashes which is slated to be held later in the year. Josh
Hazlewood said that given the intensity of a series like Ashes, it is impossible for a fast bowler to play all the Tests in the series. England will meet Australia in the Ashes just after the conclusion of the ODI World Cup.
Jos Hazlewood stated that workload has to be managed and chances of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and himself playing in all the Tests are really slim.
During an interview with the Unplayable Podcast, Jos Hazlewood stated that the last four Tests are back to back which makes it almost impossible for the fast bowlers to take part in all the games.

“The last four Tests are back-to-back,” Hazlewood told Cricket Australia’s The Unplayable Podcast Thursday. “I think it’s going to be near impossible for any quicks to play all five with it being such a tight schedule,” Hazlewood was quoted as saying by Unplayable Podcast.
The Australian speedster has been out of action since January after sustaining a back injury. However, he is confident of the fact that he will be back for the 2019 World Cup. However, he admitted that a long period of training with a white ball leading up to a five day Ashes Test is never ideal.
Hazlewood further added that playing the World Cup will at least ensure that they were playing at the highest level before the Ashes.
“I think we’ve got one four-day game between those two tournaments (World Cup and Ashes) and a couple of training sessions,” said Hazlewood. “It’s going to be a pretty quick turnaround.” Josh Hazlewood was part of the Australian squad for the 2015 edition in England.
However, he had to miss the last Test owing to an injury. Meanwhile, the opening of the Ashes Tests starts at Edgbaston on 1st August.
