Jammu And Kashmir Officials Ask BCCI To Appoint Administrators In State Body
J & K Cricket Associaton officials have asked BCCI to take note of state association. They have asked BCCI to directly interfere in the appointment of new Administrators, who can implement the Lodha committee recommendation for reforms and they can hold a new election.
Jammu and Kashmir is currently divided into two factions, one headed by Farooq Abdullah and other is headed by state’s home minister Imran Raza Ansari. Now Mehboob Iqbal who denied the post of chairman said
“I think this problem is peculiar only to the J&KCA and can not be resolved unless the BCCI directly interferes in our association by appointing an interim administrator”
He has assured that J&KCA officials abide by the order of the Supreme Court and accept the majority of Lodha committee recommendation. Iqbal also explained former chief minister and secretary stand nowhere as they both are above 70 and above 70 age officials stand disqualified.
