“Kane Williamson Best No. 3 Batsman”- Craig Mcmillan
New Zealand batting coach Craig Mcmillan has called Blackcaps’ captain Kane Williamson as the best No.3 in the world. He believes that Kane Williamson is the best among all the No.3 batsmen in Test cricket. Williamson in the second Test at Wellington scored only 3 runs, combining both innings’ score. In the first Test, his ton led Kiwi team to take lead against South Africa.
“I think he’s the best No.3 in the world, the reality is that when you bat at No. 3 you can be an opener as well, New bowl bowlers are are fresh in difficult conditions. Kane is very mentally strong around that”
Mcmillan also talked about opener Tom Latham and said Latham is going through a tough patch but know Latham is a quality player. Craig Mcmillan criticises Southpaw Tom Latham for his poor decision and referred that he needs to go back to basics again.
