Today, Karun Nair became the only 2nd Indian to score a triple hundred against England in the ongoing Test in Chennai.
But many don’t know the terrifying situation he was in a few months ago!
The young Indian cricketer Karun Nair escaped from the jaws of death when he fell down from a boat in river pampa in Kerala.
What was more terrifying is that he doesn’t know how to swim!
Nair along with others was engaged in temple festival, Valla Sadya.
The incident happened on 17th July while the boat was about to reach near Aranmula temple.
Rescue boats reached the spot and saved Karun Nair and the others.
When he came up to talk about his innings after the day’s play, Ravi Shastri brought up the topic of his accident to which he said that he was lucky to be rescued as he didn’t know swimming.
After which Ravi Shastri concluded that India wouldn’t have witnessed this historic moment if it weren’t for the rescue team.
