Cricket has no religion, it is itself a religion to its fans. But, Pakistan is predominantly a Muslim country. Their cricket team is also comprised of talented Muslim cricketers. Unlike other countries colts from other community get less chance in the Pakistan team.

Pakistan stepped up in international cricket in 1952-1953, the country is known as the basin of swing bowlers and flamboyant batsmen. They have added a fair in the international cricket since they appeared in the international cricket. Legends like, Imran Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Javed Miandad, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram were born in this shrine, which now fight with terrorist to bring back international cricket.

In 1947 when Pakistan parted away from India to constitute a country for Muslim many Christan families decided to leave India and at the same time a few Hindu families did not leave their motherland.

But, unlike any other countries aspiring cricketers from minority community hardly come to play for the national in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

In the last 62 years, only 7 nonmuslim players have played for Pakistan national side.
