Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the Nicest guy I have ever met- Imran Tahir
Rising Pune Supergiants recently signed up the South African Leggie, Imran Tahir in place of injured Mitchell Marsh.
If you go through the list of the former Indian Captain’s fan list it ought to be a long one and now one more is added to the never-ending list . This times it is the South African leg break bowler, Imran tahir himself.
Currently they are playing for the same camp in the IPL tenth edition sharing the same jersey and the same dressing room.
Previously, Tahir played for the Delhi Daredevils camp and had a good bowling impact with 32 wickets in 21 matches for the side at an economy of 8.52 and an average of 14.21.In his first match with Rising Pune Supergiants against Mumbai Indians, he made a great impact after getting unsold in the IPL biddings. He dismissed their top three batsmen namely – Parthiv Patel, Jos Buttler and Rohit Sharma.
In an interview with iplt20.com, Tahir was all in praise for the former Indian captain in all formats. Tahir showed his admiration to the man on and off the field and the way he has led team India all through the years.
“I have a lot of respect for MS Dhoni, for what has he has achieved for India and for himself. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever met,” quoting the 38-year old leggie.
He further added that his guidance was worth of billions to him. “He has been very helpful. His advice is very valuable to me. He has already proved he is a legend and I was very excited to be playing with him,” said Tahir. However, he did not enjoy his net session with the’ helicopter shot’ specialist as he dismissed him for a couple of maximums.
“I spoke to him in the nets. I didn’t enjoy it then because he hit me for a couple of sixes,” he added.
Hope these two keeps on inspiring each other and playing well for the camp in this season. Rising Pune Supergiants would love to keep up the momentum of their first game and carry forward adding up their winning points. They are scheduled to play Kings XI Punjab at the Holkar stadium in Indore.
