Earlier, Chris Gayle, who was also set to play for Kandy Tusker, pulled out of the league albeit the franchise doesn’t inform about the reason for his withdrawal. But the addition of Dale Steyn will also make the franchise, owned by Bollywood mega-star Salaman Khan’s family, stronger.

Dale Steyn featured in only three matches in the recently concluded IPL 2020. He was expensive while also had lost the knack of picking wickets. The Proteas notched only one wicket while registered a poor economy rate of 11.40. It will be interesting to see how LPL 2020 turns out for him. Because this league is likely to decide whether RCB will retain him or not for the next edition.

Well, more and more troubles have brewed in Lanka Premier League although only five days are left in the inauguration of the tournament. A couple of players, including Sohail Tanvir, had returned positive for the coronavirus and have been isolated. On the other hand, star players like Lasith Malinga, Sarfaraz Khan and some others have withdrawn their names.
