Lyca Kovai Kings defeats Madurai Suoer giants in a high scoring thriller

Who says that IPL got over in June? We have still an IPL going here in Tamil Nadu where the team are plundering high scores on the scoreboard and chasing them the team to entertain fans and viewers. That has been the scene in TNPL so far with each passing day the tournament is getting exciting and the fans are getting full value for their money.

Yesterday in an encounter between Lyca Kovai Kings and Madurai Super Giants, batting first Kings put up a score of 199 on the board. It was not a one-man show as each and every player made an important contribution. Quickfire innings from R Rohith was the game changer as it was is innings due to which run rate had a big leap. He smashed 40 of 19 balls.

The Arun Karthik led batting lie up tried it and to achieve charge by fell short by 10 runs. They needed 30 runs of last over but could score 19 runs falling short by 10 runs. With this win, Lyca climbed to the second spot in the points table.
