Madan Lal, former Indian coach, player, and member of BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee has slammed Javed Miandad for remarking controversially against current Pakistan Prime Minister and 1992 World Cup-winning skipper Imran Khan.

Javed Miandad had accused Imran Khan of ruining the state of affairs by favoring foreigners over fellow Pakistanis for several key positions on Pakistan Board. Madan Lal who is a World Cup winner for India in 1983 and later coached India felt that a lack of education is visible in his statements which make no sense.

Madan Lal Feels Javed Miandad Unstable In Uttering Comments

Javed Miandad is a former Pakistani cricket coach, commentator, and cricketer who was renowned for his unconventional style of batting and captaincy. He represented Pakistan from 1975 to 1996 and is one of two cricketers besides legendary Sachin Tendulkar to appear in six world cups.

“Whatever he is talking, doesn’t make sense, shows how much educated he is. He had previously made a remark on Kashmir as well as about our Prime Minister. Don’t you think he is a bit unstable?,” Lal said on Sports Tak.

He played 124 tests scoring 8832 runs and 233 ODIs scoring 7381 runs averaging 52.57 and 41.70 respectively.

Javed Miandad Will Talk To Imran Khan Personally About the Poor State Of Affairs

Javed Miandad was indirectly referring to Wasim Khan the CEO of PCB, who was from England born held an influential position in the cricket board of Pakistan. Javed Miandad stated that Imran Khan acted like God.

“All officials in the PCB do not know the ABC of the sport. I will talk to Imran Khan personally about the sad state of affairs. I will not leave anyone that is not right for our country,” Miandad said on his official YouTube channel.

“You appointed a foreigner on a key position. What will happen when he flees the country after doing corruption? Is there a shortage of people in your own country that you had to bring people from abroad to work in the PCB?”

The current president of Pakistan, Imran Khan represented Pakistan in 88 tests scoring 3807 runs and picking up 362 wickets besides 175 ODIs where he scored 3709 runs and picked up 182 wickets.

“I was your captain; you weren’t my captain. I’ll come to politics and then I’ll talk to you. I was the one who led you all the time, but you act like God now. It is almost like you’re the only intelligent person in this country as if no one has gone to Oxford or Cambridge or any other university in Pakistan. Think about the people,” said Miandad

Imran Khan played till 1992 and served as the captain intermittently between 1982 and 1992 besides winning their first and only major ICC tournament Cricket World Cup in 1992.
