Michael Clarke, the former Aussie captain, has offered his help to Cricket Australia – which is suffering from the crisis at the moment.
Clarke has confirmed he is ready to help the association in any way and not just by making a comeback as Test captain.
Here is what Clarke wrote on Twitter –
This article is out of control! Let me make very clear that I have not sent any formal offer to James Sutherland to come back and play cricket. I sent him a message as a friend offering to help Australian cricket in ANY way I could (this could mean mentoring the under 14s)

I won’t be batting in the nets in India in preparation for a comeback ??? and as I have always said the game owes me nothing, I owe it everything. Have a great Sunday ??

Earlier, during the third Test between Australia and South Africa, Clarke offered to make a comeback Aussie side after the Sandpaper Gate took place.
He said he is ready to make a comeback is Cricket Australia wants his services. The cricket association is facing tough times at the moment.
It banned three players viz Steven Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft for their involvement in Sandpaper Gate.
Both Smith and Warner have been banned for a year while Bancroft can only make a return after nine months.
The selectors decided to appoint Tim Paine as captain for the fourth Test.
Coming to Clarke, his comeback as a player is not on the board at the moment. Though, as he said, Cricket Australia can always rope in him in any other role.
A veteran of 115 Tests and 245 ODIs, Clarke, retired from international cricket post-Ashes 2015.
A veteran of 115 Tests and 245 ODIs, Clarke, retired from international cricket post-Ashes 2015. The same year, he led Australia to World Cup triumph after they defeated New Zealand in a one-sided affair in the final. Presently, he is in India doing commentary in IPL.
Post his retirement, he has turned into cricket expert and is often seen in TV shows sharing his expertise on the game.
Meanwhile, Cricket Australia is now also looking for a Head Coach who will succeed Darren Lehmann in the job.
Lehmann quit his job after the completion of South Africa Tests series. The name of Justin Langer to take up the job looks evenly with the former Aussie player also saying he would consider it if the offer comes.
He might be accompanied by Ricky Ponting and Jason Gillespie in the Aussie coaching staff.
