Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor left a beautiful message on Monday after MS Dhoni was conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
Exactly seven years after ending India’s 28-year World Cup drought with a famous six, Dhoni stole the limelight again, as he received the award from the President of India.
The World-Cup winning skipper attended the ceremony dressed in an army uniform.
He holds the rank of Honorary Lieutenant Colonel. The 36-year old was appointed to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army by Army Chief General VK Singh in November 2011.
Messages have been pouring in from all quarters since Dhoni was bestowed with the award.
And Arjun Kapoor was also quick to congratulate the legendary cricketer. He took to Twitter to lavish praise on Dhoni, crediting him for taking the Indian cricket to unprecedented heights.
“For me the man that genuinely took Indian cricket to another level In term s of mentality & physicality attitude & consistency…@msdhoni a leader and inspiration for life…,” Arjun tweeted.

Arjun’s tweet perfectly summed up Dhoni’s contribution to Indian cricket. The Ranchi boy is the most decorated skipper in the history of Indian cricket.
Till date, he is the only captain to have won all the three global ICC trophies – World T20I, World Cup and Champions Trophy.
He also holds the distinction of being the first player to win the ODI Player of the Year award twice. He had also led India to the number one rank in Test cricket for the first time in 2009.
