N Srinivasan refuses to comment on Windies team pullout
Former BCCI President N Srinivasan on Sunday refused to comment on the West Indies team sudden pullout of the Indian tour. Srinivasan, the current ICC Chairman quoted: “I have left the BCCI. I can’t comment on this.”
The BCCI had suspended all the bilateral cricket tours with West Indies and had decided to initiate the legal proceedings against the WICB for abruptly cancelling the tour because of which the BCCI suffered 400 crore losses.
Later on Sunday, Srinivasan also refused to comment on the case pertaining to the alleged quid-pro-quo investments made in YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy’s firms as the matter is sub-judice.
The case pertains to the alleged investments made by various private firms and individuals to the tune of the several crore rupees in Reddy’s businesses, as part of the quid-pro-quo arrangement for various favours bestowed on them during the tenure of his father late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh between 2004 and 2009.
