N. Srinivasan wants to remain as TNCA president, says he is ready to take on BCCI

There was high spectacle in the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s working committee on Friday as Board’s former president N. Srinivasan tried to attend the meeting as a representative of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).

The BCCI’s working committee will meet to discuss the way forward for Indian Premier League franchises Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.

It is likely that N. Srinivasan will also try to get entry into the meeting which will be held in a five-star hotel in Kolkata.

Reports also suggest that N. Srinivasan was defiant and wanted to remain President of TNCA and, therefore, felt he had the right to attend the meeting.

Earlier in February, N. Srinivasan had presided over the BCCI working committee meeting to which the apex court had taken strong objection.
