Australian off-spinner, Nathan Lyon has claimed that Australia’s rivalry with team India is nothing short of the Ashes. Nathan Lyon’s comments show how team India has emerged as world-beaters in international cricket and giant teams like Australia always count them as one of the most threatening oppositions.

The Ashes is one of the greatest cricket rivalries that witness England and Australia shed their blood and sweat on the field to register an Ashes win. The Ashes is one of the oldest and most popular sporting rivalries in the global sporting hemisphere as it garners the attention of the entire world watching the two teams collide.

Nathan Lyon Opens Up On Rivalry With Team India

“You definitely don’t like losing games or series while playing for Australia. Obviously, India, a couple of years ago, they outplayed us. So we are looking to have those guys come out here,” Lyon told reporters in a video on Cricket Australia’s Facebook page.
