March 13, 2002: Zimbabwe won by 6 wickets
Bengal Tiger ‘Saurav Ganguly’ was the captain this time. After India won the toss, they opted to bat first. With the great batting line-up, it was looking like the team can easily set a huge total. But, it happened the other way. The opposition was into the match right from the beginning. Douglas Hondo did the damage with his 4 wickets and India managed to score only 191.
Alistair Campbell and Grant Flower had set the stage for their team with their 71 and 49 respectively. Just for the loss of 4 wickets, they achieved the required target in just 44.2 overs. Douglas Hondo won the man of the match award for his brilliant figures of 4 for 37 in just 8.3 overs.
