Priyank Panchal

Priyank Panchal was in stunning form this season for Gujarat. His superb run-scoring spree was one of the main reason’s Gujarat was able to lift the Ranji Trophy 2016. The 26-year-old, who has the experience of 54 first-class games under his belt, emerged as the highest run-getter of the season with a staggering 1310 runs in just 10 matches. He averaged 87.33 during the tournament including five centuries, 4 fifties and a triple-century. It was obvious for such performance to be recognised and he was aptly named in the India A team, which played the tour game against Bangladesh. His golden touch looked intact as he went on to smash another century to give an example of the kind of form he is in at the moment.
