Quetta Gladiators’ captain and Pakistan wicket-keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed looked confident enough of winning the Pakistan Super League trophy. Sarfaraz’s men are going to play Peshawar Zalmi today evening at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore.
Sarfaraz is also confident about team combination and said foreign players backing out from final due to security reasons is not going to affect the team.
“It was our bad luck that we could not win the inaugural season of the PSL and now we have set our sight on winning the title by showing a performance par excellence in the final against Peshawar Zalmi”
Adding on to this, he said foreign players’ participation or non-participation was not going to make a big impact as those gaps are filled with equally good foreign players, who are eager to do well enough if given opportunity.
In the last season of Pakistan Super League, Quetta Gladiators lost to Islamabad United by 6 wickets. This time around they will surely be looking for a turnaround today.
