Eight players among the retained and traded by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are undergoing training for three days. On Monday, the RR players, including traded cricketers Ankit Rajpoot and Rahul Tewatia, went out at a new training facility at Talegaon. During the pre-season practice match, the physical and mental stability of the Indian cricketers will be measured by the professionals.
Meanwhile, the treasured premier league that commences during the early summer of India, will see the bidding of the players to take place on 19th December. The auctions will take place in Kolkata this time, which is another first in the 13th edition of the event.

The camp is set for the Indian cricketers who are already included in the Rajasthan Royals’ squad list. The training will take place under the guidance of the head of cricket Zubin Bharucha. This will be a perfect opportunity for the players to get in line with each other. It will be helpful for the coaches to understand the level of development of the cricketers of the franchisee who will be thriving to capture the title in 2020.
“This camp is an opportunity to review the level of development of our players over the last 7 months. We will be reviewing both their technical and physical progress to set clear plans for the build-up to the IPL,” said Bharucha.
Bharucha will be associated by batting coach Amol Mazumdar, spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule and UK Academy director Sid Lahiri. Whereas the physiotherapist of Rajasthan Royals, John Gloster is also part of the camp.
“Furthermore after the trading window, this will be an extremely beneficial few days to integrate our new players into the Royals family and get a closer look at their outstanding skills.”
Meanwhile, during these three days, the cricketers will not just be net practising with each other but also will work on different strategies for the game. The players are ready to simulate plans and exchange ideas with the coaches and team mentors.
The Indian cricketers for the team that are present at the camp are Shreyas Gopal, Mahipal Lomror, Varun Aaron, Shashank Singh, Rahul Tewatia, Manan Vohra, Riyan Parag, and Ankit Rajpoot.
