After winning the first-ever day/night Test match, Ravi Shastri, the Indian Head Coach, praised the new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. However, the fans have once again trolled the Indian Head Coach.
Recently, Eden Gardens (Kolkata) successfully hosted the first-ever day/night pink-ball Test match in India. It was the second and final Test match of the series between India and Bangladesh as both were playing their first-ever day/night Test match. Though initially it was scheduled as the traditional Test match, new BCCI President Sourav Ganguly played the massive role to set up this Test as day/night Test match.
The excitement of that match was very high as the first four days’ tickets were sold out before the beginning of that match. India-Bangladesh experienced their first-ever day/night Test in a jam-packed stadium.
Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque decided to bat first after winning the toss, but the visitors were bundled out for just 106 runs. Then India managed to score 347/9 decl. with the lead of 241 runs. Indian captain Virat Kohli scored a brilliant century as the right-handed batsman played the knock of 136 runs.
In the second innings, Bangladesh were bowled out on 195 runs as the hosts won that match by an innings and 46 runs. That historic match was finished before the first hour of day three. With that victory, India won that series by 2-0.
President Sourav Ganguly ensured no stone was left unturned – Ravi Shastri
The BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has been praised for his desperate actions to make successful this pink-ball Test match in India. Indian head coach Ravi Shastri is one of them who highly praised the BCCI President.
After winning that special Test match, Ravi Shastri tweeted, “Great pink show in Kolkata. President @SGanguly99 ensured no stone was left unturned. Well done ! #PinkBallTest #India #IndvsBan”
But once again Ravi Shastri has been trolled on social media platforms. Though it is not a new thing when Ravi Shastri has faced troll, this time the reason was showing support to the BCCI President which many couldn’t believe.
