Musheer Khan, the 9-year old left-arm spinner who dismissed Indian Southpaw Yuvraj Singh in a friendly match in August 2013, stole the show again after picking up nine wickets in an innings in a match at the Young Mohammedan Sports Club, Azad Maidan on May 23.

During Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) summer vacation U-14 camp, Musheer – the younger brother of rising Indian player Sarfaraz Khan – grabbed nine scalps while playing a match for Dadar Union against Virar. His magnificient spell included a hat-trick as well and he finished with the figures of 14-9-9-9.

With the bat too, he played a steady innings of 48 off 152 balls and helped his team reach the semi-final. Amazing that is!

Musheer has been bowling well for Sportsfield CC in the Kanga League from the past two years. In 2013, he became the youngest player ever to feature in the Kanga League.

Musheer’s elder brother Sarfaraz Khan too was in the headlines of late for his good show for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 8.
