After Dhoni made his intentions of dropping the senior clear to the selectors, the selectors were surprised and one of them said:” Jisne Dhoni ko promote kiya, Dhoni aaj usiko bahar karna chahta hai.” (Dhoni wants to drop those who promoted him.)
Well, the decision was a bit harsh on the seniors but Dhoni went on to lift the World Cup with his team which justifies his actions.
