Shahid Afridi Rescues 30 Pakistani Prisoners From Dubai Jail
Known for his noble deeds, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has once again shown the generous side of his personality by rescuing 30 prisoners.
The 36-year old, through his Shahid Afridi Foundation, helped secure the release of 30 Pakistani prisoners, who were detained in Dubai for several reasons.
He later took to Facebook to thank the Dubai Police Department for releasing the prisoners.
The flamboyant cricketer, who has retired from all the formats but the T20, started the Shahid Afridi Foundation in 2014. The non-profit organization aims to provide healthcare, education and sports facilities in Pakistan and around the world.
