Shoaib Akhtar Recalls His First Meeting With Sushant Singh Rajput

One of Pakistan’s all-time greats, Shoaib Akhtar, has recalled his first meeting with the late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput and grieved his sudden and shocking demise. Notably, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 in his Mumbai residence. It has come as a shock to all those who knew him and the entire country is terrified by the horrific unfolding of events.
Sushant Singh Rajput had become a recognizable face in the cricketing world due to the role he played in MS Dhoni’s biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Sushant lived the role of former Indian skipper and MS Dhoni in the film and executed it to such perfection that some people even felt no difference in reel-life and real-life MS Dhoni.
Now, former Pakistan speedster, Shoaib Akhtar has recalled his first meeting with Sushant Singh Rajput and mourned his sudden demise that has shaken the world.

Akhtar said he had met Sushant when he was in India in 2016 and he regrets not talking to the 34-year-old actor, who starred in former India captain MS Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’.
“I met him in Mumbai when I was about to leave India in 2016. To be honest, he did not look very confident to me. He went past me with his head down. A friend told me that he is doing MS Dhoni’s film,” said Shoaib Akhtar in a YouTube video.
“I thought I will have to watch his acting now. He has come from a humble background and he is making a good film. The film did turn out to be successful but I regret not stopping him there and having a word with him about life. I could have shared experiences of my life with him, maybe I could have talked to him like the way I do which could have given him a broad spectrum in life. But I regret not talking to him,” Shoaib Akhtar added.
Sushant Singh Rajput Was Battling Depression:
The news broke on Sunday afternoon when Sushant Singh Rajput’s body was discovered in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. The cause of the suicide is believed to be depression as he struggled with a lot of financial crisis. Nevertheless, the CBI is investigating the same, and new stories might unfold in the coming few days.
Now, the Crime Branch is investigating into Sushant’s death and looking for more than what it actually appears on the first look of it. Sushant’s demise has sent the entire country into a shock.
