Indian women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana has always shocked by his batting style and now, she amazed by her fielding skill during the match between India A and India B in Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy. India B captain showed her flying ability while catching the ball.
During the sixth over of India A’s innings, all-rounder Anuja Patil bowled a good-length delivery, and Devika Vaidya struck the ball into the covers to grab a boundary, but skipper Mandhana immediately reacted to the ball. She dived on her right to send back Devika (6) to the dressing room.

About the game: India B vs India A match
On Tuesday (7th January), India B won the toss and opted to bat at Cuttack. In the 20-overs game, skipper Mandhana scored 34 runs, setting the target of 140 runs (139/4) against India A.
India A top-order batswomen Taniya Bhatia, Priya Punia and Devika Vaidya could not give stability to the team. India B bowlers Anuja Patil and Sushree Dibyadarshani picked two wickets each, halting India A to reach the target. Harmanpreet Kaur-led India A scored just 104 runs at the loss of seven wickets.

In the points table, India B tops the table, winning two matches and one with no results in three matches. Now, the India B team will head to play their fourth match of the tournament against India C. Final of the Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy will be played on 10th January (Friday).
Talking about Smriti Mandhan, she is the only Indian women’s cricketer named in both the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s ODI and T20 teams of 2019. The swashbuckling women cricketer is compared with Virender Sehwag for her attacking batting style.
