Solo Nqweni fights Coronavirus:
Nqweni played for South Africa Under-19s in 2012 and has been contracted to Eastern Province and the Warriors franchise since. Last year, in July, he was discovered with GBL after which things got worse for him. He was diagnosed with a long line of health issues. He had to put into a coma so a machine could do the work of his lungs. He was being treated in a Scottish hospital and returned home in January this year to undergo rehabilitation in Johannesburg.
In February, the South Africa national cricket team raised funds to bear the cost of Nqweni’s rehabilitation. However, when things seem to get normal for him, Solo Nqweni is now diagnosed with COVID-19, which has taken over 27K people.
