Former India captain Sourav Ganguly rings the prestigious bell at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground ahead of the start of the fifth day’s play between England and India. It has been a tradition at Mecca of Cricket Lord’s that former greats would ring the bell which signals the start of the day’s play. Lord’s which is also called as the Home of Cricket has been using this as a tradition ever since it was introduced in 2007 by MCC Chief Keith Bradshaw. Apart from Ganguly, former India greats Rahul Dravid and Kapil Dev rang the bell on the first and fourth day of the test respectively. With Ganguly (who taught India winning overseas) ringing the bell, India would like to seal the test match and their first test overseas in over three years.
