Arjuna Ranatunga (Sri Lanka): Different playing XIs – 91.07%

Former Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga was one of the most successful skippers of the country. Under his leadership, Sri Lanka won the Cricket World Cup 1996. Ranatunga led the Sri Lankan team in 56 Tests between 1989 and 1999, out of which his team won 12 Tests (success rate 21.43%).

Skipper Ranatunga managed 44 different Test players (excluding himself), out of which, 31 players made their Test debuts. During his Test captaincies, he fielded 51 different playing XIs and maintained the similar playing XIs in only five Tests.
