5. Mohammad Asif
Pakistan right-arm pacer Mohammad Asif was one of the talented pacers in international cricket history. However, he failed to run long in international cricket due to the controversies, including his involvement in the 2010 spot-fixing scandal. He has played 72 international matches.
In October 2006, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dropped Mohammad Asif from the ICC Champions Trophy squad for failing the drug test for the banned anabolic steroid nandrolone. Due to that reason, the PCB handed Asif one-year ban from professional cricket.
In February 2009, the Indian Premier League (IPL) suspended Asif after his test had a positive result for steroids.
Earlier in 2008, Asif faced the detention at Dubai International Airport on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs.
