The former English pace-bowling all-rounder Sir Ian Botham was one of the greatest all-rounders in international cricket history. However, he also fell in the drug trap during his cricket career.

In 1986, Botham admitted in an interview that he smoked cannabis. Later, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) suspended the all-rounder for 63 days. After completing that suspension period, Botham made a great return to international cricket, and soon he became the most wicket-taker in Test cricket history.
