Twitter Erupts As West Indies Bowl Out Bangladesh For Just 43

Kemar Roach tore through Bangladesh’s batting lineup, taking a stunning five-wicket haul as West Indies folded Bangladesh inside 19 overs, for their lowest Test score – 43.
With a tinge of green on the pitch, West Indies skipper Jason Holder did not hesitate in bowling first. And his decision was fully justified his bowlers. Some poor shots also made it easy for the hosts to make light work of the visitors. Kemar Roach fired on all cylinders, picking up 5 for 18 – within the first 45 minutes of play before hobbling off the field with a calf injury.
Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das added 10 runs for the first wicket before the floodgates opened. Roach dismissed Tamim after the southpaw poked at a delivery outside off. Momin-ul-Haq fell soon after in a similar fashion. But it was Roach’s fifth over which did the real damage.
Mushfiqur Rahim was trapped leg before Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah also departed in the same over. All the three batsmen were dismissed for ducks.
Bangladesh must have heaved a sigh of relief to see Roach walking off the field. However , there was no end to their misery. Holder and Miguel Cummins took over after Roach’s departure. Bangladesh’s slim hopes of posting a respectable total all but ended with Liton’s departure. Nurul Hasan was dismissed in the same over as Bangladesh fell to 34 for 7 in 14 overs.
Cummins then took his third wicket in his next over, getting Mehidy Hasan Miraz caught at second slip. Kamrul Islam Rabbi and debutant Abu Jayed also could not delay the inevitable as Bangladesh were all out for just 43.
Apart from one, the other 10 batsmen scored in a single digit. In fact, 4 batsmen failed to even open their account while two other scored 1 each. Opener Liton Das was their top-scorer with 25 runs off 53 balls and the next best knock came from Rubel Hossain’s six runs off 10 balls.
Meanwhile , Twitter was quick to react to the action in Antigua.

Someone tell this Bangla team that they are playing test cricket against a very good seam attack in their backyard not against a club team. The way Liton Das was dismissed shows how immature he is to bat at this level. #WIvBAN

Bangladeshi Cricket going backwards, that's what happens when you focus more on stupid Naagin dance than improving your game.#WIvBAN
