India’s Test specialist Wriddhiman Saha entered into the record books scoring a 20 ball 100 in a local T20 game. Meanwhile, he was representing Mohun Bagan AC who chased down the target of 151 in just seven overs.
However, the T20 match was part of the JC Mukherjee Trophy in Kalighat. Saha turned up for Mohun Bagan to take on BNR Recreation Club on Saturday.
His side restricted their opposition to 151 for 7 in 20 overs. Meanwhile, everyone knew the fate of the game with an international player on their ranks, but nobody expected this to follow.
Saha, opening the innings, went berserk from the very first ball. The right-hander blasted 14 sixes and four boundaries en route a 20–ball hundred. His unbeaten knock of 102 runs came at a blistering strike-rate of 510.
Further, Bagan went on to win the match by ten wickets in just seven overs, with Saha’s opening partner Subhomoy Das making a 28-ball 32.
Meanwhile, this is the fastest hundred ever registered in a cricket game. Also, the pocket-sized dynamo shattered all the records on his way to scoring this hundred.
Further, here is how the Twitter reacted to Saha’s blistering knock:

Wriddhiman Saha just slammed a 20-ball T20 hundred in a club game earlier today. His innings consisted of 14 sixes and 4 fours. A nice way to warm up for the #IPL season ahead.
