Hardik Pandya couldn’t have asked for a better ODI debut, as he was simply stunning against New Zealand at Dharamshala. Skipper MS Dhoni surprised everyone as he gave the new ball to Pandya, who shared it alongside Umesh Yadav. The Baroda all rounder began his memorable debut by getting rid of Martin Guptill, as Rohit Sharma took a good catch in the slips.

He followed it up with the wicket of New Zealand all rounder Corey Anderson as Umesh Yadav took a stunning catch diving to his right. The wicket of Luke Ronchi was the icing on the cake as he paid off the faith instilled in him by MS Dhoni.
