Video- Chris Jordan pulls off a stunner to get rid of Darren Bravo
England’s Chris Jordan pulled off a stunner in the slips to get rid of Darren Bravo in the ongoing first Test against West Indies at Antigua. With 438 to win, Windies lost Kraigg Brathwaite early before Bravo and Devon Smith steadied the ship with 83-run partnership for the second wicket. When it looked like it was going the Windies way, Bravo played a loose shot on the bowling of offie Joe Root and Jordan responded beautifully to the catch to end the day in his team’s favour.
Here is the vine of it:
Earlier, riding on the wonderful hundred from Ian Bell, England scored 399 in their first innings. In reply, Jermaine Blackwood scored his first international hundred to save Windies from the blushes and take them to a respectable total of 295, giving England the first innings lead of 104. Gary Ballance then hit his 4th Test hundred taking his team to a strong position. England declared their second innings on 333/7, taking an overall lead of 437.
