Video: Chris Lynn Smashes The Ball Out Of The Stadium
Apr 10, 2017 at 6:36 PM
Brisbane Heat batsman Chris Lynn, on Friday, shocked the world as he smashed Shaun Tait for a 121-meter long six, which went over the roof of the stadium in a BBL 06 match against Hobart Hurricanes at the Gabba.
Tait bowled the delivery at a speed of 148/kmph and the ball went outside the park due to the bat speed as Lynn was quick to the shot and the force put into it was enough for the ball to fly outside the stadium.
The commentators claimed it had crossed the distance of over 121 meters. Not only the longest of the night, but indeed the longest of the Big Bash tournaments and longest ever so far.
It reminded us of Shahid Afridi’s six which was dispatched out of the Johannesburg stadium in the similar fashion on the bowling of Ryan McLaren.
