Video: Mohammad Amir Stretchered Off The Field With Knee Trouble
In a Test match against Australia at the Gabba, Mohammad Amir injured his right knee when he tried to field a delivery getting down on his knees.
The ball came towards the Pakistani left-arm pacer at pace and the bowler got his technique all wrong while fielding the ball.
Amir missed the ball completely as it went through his hands and Australia was awarded four runs. Amir immediately felt there was something wrong with his knee as it struck the ground hard while trying to stop the pink ball.
The umpires had to stop the proceedings and the medical staff had to come on to the ground as Amir received some treatment on his right knee. Amir, however, was back on the field later in the day and even bowled with second new ball.
