In the second ODI between New Zealand and Bangladesh, there were funny scenes as Bangladesh Cricketer Sabbir Rahman got himself out in the funniest of ways. Bangladesh was chasing a target 251 and made a decent start to their innings. They were batting at a score of 105/1 when the funny incident took place with both batsmen well settled at the crease. Sabbir Rahman was at the non-striker’s end with Imrul Kayes facing the ball. Imrul played the ball on the off side and rushed off to the non-striker’s end without listening to his partner’s call. Sabbir hesitated and was slow to get back to the crease as Imrul made it to the bowler’s end just ahead of Sabbir. As a result, Sabbir was declared out. Eventually, Bangladesh went on to lose the match against the Kiwis.
