Video: The worst over in the history of cricket – 48 runs scored

Sudipta / 01 August 2016

In 2010 former Pakistan opener, who was once referred as Pakistan’s Sachin Tendulkar, bowled the worst over in the history of cricket. In a Hong Kong Sixes match, Australian batsmen took 48 runs at a matting wicket of the bowling off Imran Nazir.

Imran had played only eight Test for Pakistan and 79 ODI matches. His highest score is 160 against Zimbabwe at Sabina Park in the 2007 World Cup.

Nazir started his career promisingly, but he faded away with time, probably because of PCB selectors’ policy.

He last played for Pakistan in 2009 in ODIs and in a T20 in 2012. His Test career ended in 2002.

Nazir made his debut in 1999 against Sri Lanka.

This video is about the 2010 Hong Kongs Super Six final where Pakistan lost the match to the hitting of David Warner and Glenn Maxwell.

However,  Hong Kong Super Sis is famous for sixes only.
