Indian Test captain Virat Kohli is preparing for the West Indies tour at the National Cricket team. The Test captain has been in some form in the limited-overs cricket.
Currently, at the NCA he is trying his hand at bowling and wicket keeping along with batting. He wants to be an allrounder. During the India’s tour of Bangladesh, Kohli did wicketkeeping while Umesh Yadav was bowling. But it seems he enjoys the glove work so he took his time out from his preparation with batting and gym.
Under the watchful eyes of Anil Kumble, it seems the Indian team doesn’t want to leave anything untouched during the practice session. In India’s Test squad, other than Wriddhiman Saha, only KL Rahul is known to be a decent wicketkeeper.
Kohli, the fitness freak and a brilliant fielder in the side, is practicing wicketkeeping which is an additional benefit to the team.
