Mumbai batsmen today created history as they chased down a target of 96 in just 5.4 overs, to finish the game as early as possible. The aggressive batting from Suryakumar Yadav and Aditya Tare saw Mumbai winning the game in just 34 deliveries.

The day started with Mumbai bowlers dominating the Goa batsmen right from the start. Prathamesh Gawas was the first man to go for Goa on a score 14. The wickets continued to fall and half of Goa batting line-up was back in the Pavillion on 44.

Goa Batsmen, though, shared small partnerships in between but Mumbai bowlers did not let them go ahead and bowled out their batting line up on a mere total of 95.

All hopes were on Rohit Sharma as he opened the batting for Mumbai but was dismissed on a mere score of 4. Shreyas Iyer too went back on the score of 14 but then the pair of SuryaKumar Yadav and Aditya Tare just switched on their aggressive mode and smacked 76 runs in next 20 deliveries to fly Mumbai to a spectacular win over Goa.

With this win, Mumbai ended their group stage tourney with four wins in the tournament and qualify for the quarter-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
