Former Indian cricketer, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has highlighted the difference between Virat Kohli’s and MS Dhoni’s captaincy. MS Dhoni has been one of the most successful captains in the history of international cricket. He has been the most successful Indian captain ever. He is the only captain in world cricket to win all the three major ICC events.
Dhoni won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 for the India National Cricket Team. He also led team India to the top of the ladder in the ICC Test Team Rankings when India, for the first time in their history, achieved the feat.
Now, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has highlighted the difference in the captaincy styles of both the skippers and narrated their different approaches towards the game.

“Virat Kohli makes a lot of changes, MS Dhoni, when he was the captain of India, would not make too many changes. Virat Kohli likes to make changes, Horses for Courses,” said Laxman Sivaramakrishnan.

Virat Kohli Has Also Been A Successful Indian Skipper
Virat Kohli has been an impressive skipper, especially in Test cricket for team India. Virat has led the Men in Blue in 55 Test matches out of which the team has won 33 games and lost 12 games. 10 games have ended in a draw, and he has a win percentage of 60 in the most extended format of the game.
Virat Kohli has also led India in 89 ODIs so far out of which the team has gone on to win 62 matches and lost only 24 games. One game has tied during Virat’s reign, and two ended in no result. Virat Kohli has a win percentage of 71.83 as India have emerged as one of the strongest ODI teams in world cricket.
In the T20Is, Kohli has led team India in 37 games so far wherein they have won 22 games and lost 11 matches. 2 games have ended in a tie, and two games have ended in No Result. Kohli has a win percentage of 65.71 in T20Is.
