After confirming nothing wrong between the duo, the skipper posted a picture of his teammates with a hashtag squad, in which, Rohit Sharma goes missing. Following India’s run in the recently-concluded ICC World Cup 2019 edition, in England and Wales, there have been claims of a rift between Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his deputy in Rohit Sharma. Some section believed that Rohit was miffed with Kohli’s decision-making but the team management completely tarnished the claims.

While the above claims may have no story to tell, comparisons between both the players and their captaincy style have always been a hot topic of debate. However, the duo has performed brilliantly as a batsman for the country or the states or clubs, where they have featured.

Getting back to the topic, India captain Virat Kohli shared a picture of Team India in the locker room after a practice session. The players in the picture were KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Washington Sundar, Shreyas Iyer and Khaleel Ahmed.

Surprisingly, Rohit Sharma was missing and that caught the eye of the fans. It is interesting that Rohit does not feature in the ‘Squad’ picture at a time when rumours of a rift between them are doing the rounds. Not long back, Rohit unfollowed Anushka Sharma to add fuel to the speculations.
