India U-19 got their hands on their third U-19 Asia Cup trophy after they convincingly beat Sri Lanka by 34 runs in the final. Chasing a total of 274, Sri Lanka looked favorites at one stage but faltered in the end as India managed to come out on top. It was a combined effort from the whole team throughout the tournament, especially in the decider.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag – who has an amazing relationship with the social media site twitter – once again used the same to wish the U-19 team for their success. He hailed India as the champions of Asia mentioning their dominance in the continent this year. He also did not miss out on the feat achieved by the women’s team and showed his respect towards the Indian eves.
