There is probably no cricketer, both former and present, who is as active as Virender Sehwag on social media. With 7.22 million followers on Twitter, the former swashbuckling opener is one of the most popular cricketers on the social media site. And it all started with his hilarious birthday messages to his friends, teammates, and other famous personalities around the world.
The Nawab of Najafgarh has carved his own niche with his witty posts and funny one-liners. He has been involved in several hilarious conversations in the past and the fans were once again left in splits when he aimed a troll at former New Zealand captain Ross Taylor. It all started when the former cricketer took to Twitter to wish Indian batsman Suresh Raina on his birthday.
Wishing the southpaw in his trademark style, Sehwag tweeted:“When people ask ,Have you seen Aaina ? (mirror)
Answer is, I have seen Raina .
Happy Birthday Suresh Raina.

Suresh Raina was quick to thank Sehwag for his message.

And then, in a weird tweet, Ross Taylor, who is currently playing in the second Test against Pakistan, tagged Sehwag along with Suresh Raina in a tweet but did not say anything.

As expected, Sehwag was surprised by the tweet too and used the opportunity to troll the Kiwi batsman.
What happened Taylor ji..
Why tagging without typing. Hope stitching going on fine and you getting many orders. https://t.co/B6cnr8Y1pY— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) November 27, 2016
Taylor was quick to reveal the reason behind his weird tweet.
@ImRaina haha. Sorry mate. Daughter had my phone ???. Hope your well

Replying to Taylor’s tweet, Sehwag posted:
I am good Ross. How is the eye now ?
Get well soon brother!
And may you win the series. https://t.co/FtpfkiyPMv— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) November 27, 2016
The Kiwi batsman is currently suffering from an eye problem, which is troubling him while batting. However, he ended his poor run in Tests with a brilliant century against Pakistan in the second Test at Hamilton.
