Watch: Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Stunning Catch To Dismiss Glenn Maxwell

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is having quite a game to remember in the ongoing third and final ODI against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He gave India a flying start by dismissing Alex Carey for just five runs in the series-decider. A few overs later, he dismissed Aaron Finch to reduce Australia to 27 for 2, thus putting India well on top.

And the day became only more memorable for him when he took a stunning catch to dismiss the dangerous Glenn Maxwell. Mohammed Shami bowled a short delivery to Maxwell which the latter could not read. In the end, he just managed to miscue it behind the stumps. But the ball was still looking to land safely. However, Bhuvneshwar came charging in, ran around 10-15 metres before diving forward to take a stunner.

India, meanwhile, are eyeing their first ever bilateral ODI-series win in Australia. The tour has been a historic one for the visitors. They started their Australia tour by drawing the T20I series 1-1 before winning a historic Test series. The hosts bounced back by winning the first ODI before India won the second to level the series. A win in the ongoing game will be the perfect end to India’s memorable stay in Australia.

After this game, India will fly to New Zealand for the limited-overs tour that consists of five ODIs and three T20Is.
