Bhuvneshwar Kumar rarely loses his cool on the field. Unlike the most of pacers, the India star is an exception by miles. He rarely shows his anger or emotions on the field while doing a brilliant job with the ball more often than not. However, on Friday, he seemed to have lost his cool when Aaron Finch decided to pull away at the last moment.
The incident took place on the final ball of the ninth over when Bhuvneshwar was bowling to Finch. The right-arm pacer decided to do something new and bowled from beside the umpire. However, Finch, taken aback by Bhuvneshwar’s ploy, decided to pull away at the last moment, much to the frustration of the Indian camp. A livid Bhuvneshwar was then seen telling the umpire:
“That can’t be a dead ball.”
However, the umpire was taking none of it and asked the India seamer to bowl the final delivery of the over again.

But Bhuvneshwar had the last laugh while Finch paid the price for pulling away as the former took the latter’s wicket on the very following delivery.

India, meanwhile, are eyeing their first ever bilateral ODI-series win in Australia. The tour has been a historic one for the visitors. They started their Australia tour by drawing the T20I series 1-1 before winning a historic Test series. The hosts bounced back by winning the first ODI before India won the second to level the series. A win in the ongoing game will be the perfect end to India’s memorable stay in Australia.
After this game, India will fly to New Zealand for the limited-overs tour that consists of five ODIs and three T20Is.
