Watch: Glenn Maxwell’s Stunning Catch To Dismiss Virat Kohli For Duck
Sep 17, 2017 at 2:12 PM
India have had a terrible start to their innings in the first ODI against Australia in Chennai after a rare top order collapse.
Ajinkya Rahane was the first player to get dismissed on the double paced Chepauk pitch. He managed just five runs in his struggled start. Virat Kohli who came as No.3 has failed to tick the scoreboard as he was sent packing back to the pavilion through some inspired pace bowling by both Pat Cummins and Coulter Nile.
Coming to the wicket, Coulter Nile threw the ball wide from off stump, and Virat Kohli has slashed walloped towards the backward point region. However, Maxwell was up to the task as his quick reflexes meant Virat Kohli scored a very rare duck in ODI cricket.
The Aussie jumped to perfection as he made the catch look so simple in the end. India are in deep trouble on a batting wicket, and it remains how the other middle order batsmen respond to this crisis.
Here is the wicket
